Who we are
Flightline Aviation Talent ("we") is a specialist recruitment consultancy. This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and your rights over it. Contact for anything data-related via our contact form (dedicated privacy email to be confirmed).
What we collect and why
- Job applications and CV registrations — your name, email, phone, CV and any message you send. Used to assess your fit for roles, to contact you about opportunities, and — only with your consent — to introduce you to a hiring client. Lawful basis: taking steps prior to a contract, and legitimate interest in operating a recruitment service.
- Screening chats — your answers to first-stage screening questions (salary expectations, availability, right to work). Used to progress your application.
- Interview recordings — where you consent to an interview being recorded, the recording is transcribed and analysed to support fair, consistent assessment.
- Salary checker and job alerts — the role details you enter and your email address. Used to send you the benchmark and, if you opt in, alerts about new roles. Every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Employer enquiries — your name, company and contact details, used to respond to your enquiry.
AI processing
We use AI to operate this service: CVs, screening conversations and interview transcripts are processed by Anthropic's Claude API (under Anthropic's commercial data-use terms, which do not permit training on our data) to produce summaries and assessments for our consultants. Interview recordings are transcribed on our own server and are not sent to any transcription provider. AI outputs support our consultants' judgement; significant decisions about candidates are made by people, not solely by automated means.
Cookies and analytics
The public site sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics. We count page views in aggregate (page path and referring site only — no IP addresses, no profiles). The recruiter portal sets a single authentication cookie for signed-in staff.
Sharing
We share candidate details with a hiring client only when you agree to be put forward for a role. We never sell personal data. We would never charge candidates for our services.
Retention
We keep candidate records while your registration is active so we can match you to future roles, and delete or anonymise them on request or after prolonged inactivity. Backups are retained for 14 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (including your CV and any recordings) at any time — email us and we'll action it promptly. If you're in the UK/EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
